EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2000 to be featured live on the Internet
Live Web cam to feature Aeroshell Square
OSHKOSH, WI -- EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2000 will have an added feature this year. Throughout the convention, interested onlookers will be able to view live images of Aeroshell Square and surrounding runways on-line. As part of a promotional arrangement, Horgan Sales & Service, Inc. is providing a web cam that will broadcast live images on the company's AlwaysThere Cam Network. The network can be viewed 24 hours a day at www.horgansales.com.
The camera, which is mounted on the FAA control tower at Wittman Regional Airport, features complete horizontal panning, vertical tilt, and a powerful zoom lens, all of which can be controlled manually on site. In addition, it can be set to pan back and forth automatically. Placement of the camera was designed to give viewers the feel of watching the action from the control tower.
